INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cup pineapple juice
  • 4 cup Sprite or 7UP
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries pureed
  • ½ lb fresh strawberries halved and shaped like hearts
  • Ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1 Defrost the frozen strawberries and blend them into a smooth puree using a hand blender.
  2. 2 Remove the leaves from the fresh strawberries, slice them in half, and trim each slice into a heart shape using a paring knife.
  3. 3 In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree and half of the heart-shaped strawberries.
  4. 4 Add the pineapple juice to the pitcher and stir gently.
  5. 5 Pour in the Sprite or 7UP just before serving to keep the fizz intact.
  6. 6 Serve the punch in glasses filled with ice cubes, garnished with the reserved heart-shaped strawberries.
