INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1 For each recipe: Heat butter and oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onions, garlic, and vegetables until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add rice and stir to toast for 1-2 minutes. Stir in seasonings, broth, and any other liquids or add-ins. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove bay leaf if used. Fluff with fork and serve.
